A method for repairing a balcony floor (20), a patio floor, or any other concrete floor, in which the balcony floor is coated with a prefabricated, pliable coating system (30) resistant to wear and weather conditions, the coating system being attached onto the floor using a waterproof and elastic adhesive and sealant paste (22). In a balcony floor structure (10), the coating system (30) comprises a plastic overcoat layer and a tissue-like or sheet-like reinforcing layer (23), the edges of which may have a flashing (34) as required.
