Method for operating a system for transporting thermal energy through a liquid medium

The method involves controlling flow temperature (12) of a consumer circuit without increase in return temperature (14) of a generator circuit by control and/or regulation of a heat generator of the generator circuit based on temperature values. The temperature values are measured by sensor units (101-106) for detecting temperature of a liquid medium in the generator and the consumer circuits that are connected with each other via a decoupler. The flow temperature (12) is controlled based on flow temperature (11) of the generator circuit. An independent claim is also included for a system for transporting thermal energy via a liquid medium.
