摘要 <p>An object is detected by using forward scattered waves scattered forward from the object. An object probing device comprises a sound source for sending sonic pulses into a propagation environment, a transducer array disposed in a region in which forward scattered waves scattered forward from an object that is present in the propagation environment are received, addition processing units respectively for extracting only the signals of the forward scattered waves by subjecting reference signals in a reference sound field which are received by the transducer array in a state in which the object is not present in the propagation environment and mixed signals in a probe sound field which are received by the transducer array in a state in which the object is present in the propagation environment to vector addition processing, a time reversal processing unit for generating time-reversed sonic pulses by subjecting the forward scattered waves extracted by the addition processing units to time reversal processing, and a phase conjugation determination unit for checking whether phase conjugacy is achieved in the propagation environment from the sound source to the transducer array by applying passive phase conjugation to the sonic pulses generated by the time reversal processing unit.</p>
