The brake (20) has a plate (21) and a core (22) integratedly maintained in contact using a maintenance force for allowing sliding of the core on the plate, where the core and the plate are made to contact with each other using a rivet (24) pop(RTM: blind rivet). An elastic washer (27) is forcibly maintained between a head (28) of the rivet and the core. A rod of the rivet is guided in a spacer (29) that is housed in the core. An end (30) of the spacer contacts with the plate, and another end (31) of the spacer contacts with the head of the rivet. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a motor vehicle comprising a drum brake (2) a method for manufacturing a brake drum of a motor vehicle.
