The invention relates to an energizing chewing gum having very good organoleptic qualities. The purpose of the invention is to provide an energizing chewing gum having good organoleptic qualities and good standard physico-chemical properties required for chewing gums (in particular, cohesion and viscosity at mouth temperature). To this end, the chewing of the invention includes a base gum, water-soluble sweetening agents, flavourings, taurine, caffeine with at least a portion thereof originating from a guarana extract, and at least one anti-bitterness agent, the taurine/caffeine mass ratio being less than 10 and preferably less than or equal to 8. The invention also relates to a method for making such a chewing gum. |
