CARCASS CODE WITH PET/PC BLEND AND TIRE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A carcass cord manufactured from polyethyleneterephthalate/polycarbonate polymer blend, and a radial tire using the same are provided so that high speed driving performance and durability are enhanced because the modulus degradation at high temperature is improved. CONSTITUTION: A carcass cord is manufactured from polyethyleneterephthalate/polycarbonate polymer blend. The volume ratio of the polyethyleneterephthalate to the polycarbonate is 92~99:1~8. The carcass cord has 1,000~10,000denier.
