<p>Provided are a lens barrel by which collision between lenses can be eliminated at the time of shortening the length of the lens barrel, and an imaging device. The lens barrel is provided with: a first lens group, which is positioned on the object side in an optical system composed of a plurality of lenses, and can be changed to be in a first state wherein the lenses in the optical axis direction of the optical system are at predetermined intervals and to be in a second state wherein the intervals of the lenses are narrower than those in the first state; a second lens group, which is positioned on the image side of the first lens group in the optical system, and can change the imaging state of the optical system by moving along the optical axis of the optical system; a restricting member which restricts the change of the first lens group from the first state to the second state; and a driving means which moves the second lens group to the image side of the optical system in the state where the change to the second state is restricted by means of the restricting member. The restricting member stops the restriction when the driving means finishes moving the second lens group.</p> |
