PURPOSE: A digital video photographing device, a control method and a recording medium storing a program for execution thereof are provided to prevent accumulation of an error by finding a motion vector through comparison between a current frame image and a reference image. CONSTITUTION: In order that a frame image become most similar with a reference image, a motion vector decision unit(51) decides a motion vector for movement of a current frame image. If a size of the motion vector is smaller than a pre-set size, a video stabilizing unit(52) moves the current frame image according to the motion vector for stabilization of a video. If the size of the motion vector is bigger than the pre-set size, a reference image update unit(55) updates the current frame image to the reference image.
