<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate data stored in a storage device, even in such a situation that a plurality of types of storage devices with different commands to be understood coexists, without being aware of the situation. <P>SOLUTION: An identification acquisition directing part 171 transmits an identification acquisition command to the storage device (IC tag), and an identification receiving part 181 receives the identification information of the storage device. A protocol determination part 130, based on the identification information of the storage device, determines a command group (protocol) understood by the storage device. An extended command conversion part 140 converts a shared command acquired by a shared command acquisition part 161 into an extended command.
