<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability switching device. <P>SOLUTION: Two switches (a switch SW1 and a switch SW2) capable of independently ON/OFF-control are connected between an AC power supply 1 having an effective voltage value of 100 V and a load 2 in series, the middle point between resistors (R1, R2) each having the same resistance value connected in series such that an AC voltage V of the AC power supply 1 is divided is connected to the middle point between the switch SW1 and the switch SW2.
