<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method of pretreating samples to measure saccharified amines as target analytes and to achieve a highly reliable method of measuring the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: After saccharified amino acids in a sample are decomposed by the action of fructosylamino acid oxidase(FAOD) added to the sample, the amount of saccharified amines as target analytes is determined by measuring a redox reaction by the action of further added FAOD. An FAOD acting on saccharified amino acids and another FAOD acting on saccharified amines may have the same or different substrate specificity. In the case where the same FAOD is used; after saccharified amino acids are decomposed by the action of the FAOD, the FAOD is inactivated by protease and, at the same time, the saccharified amines are decomposed.
