PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quinuclidinium salt that has excellent solubility to an organic solvent used in an electrolyte solution and is useful as an electrolyte salt for use in a storage battery device. SOLUTION: The quinuclidinium salt is represented by formula (1). In the formula, R represents a 1-4C alkyl group, a CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>OR' group or a CH<SB>2</SB>OR' group (R' represents a methyl group or an ethyl group), and X<SP>-</SP>represents a monovalent anion containing a fluorine atom.
