<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable construction without the need for a reinforcing ring when a tubular or semi-tubular body for earth retaining is formed of a liner plate. <P>SOLUTION: In the construction of the vertical shaft etc., a plurality of wall members 21 are connected to one another in the circumferential or axial directions of the vertical shaft so as to form the tubular or semi-tubular body for earth retaining. The liner plates 1 are used as a plurality of wall member bodies for being connected in the circumferential or axial directions of the vertical shaft; and a highly-ductile fiber-reinforced cementitious composite layer 23 is formed on a corrugated surface of the liner plate 1. Since the highly-ductile fiber-reinforced cementitious composite is highly ductile, strength can be increased without deteriorating deformability as characteristics of the liner plate 1. The increase of the strength enables flanges 3 of the upper and lower liner plates to be directly connected to each other by means of a bolt 12 without an intermediary of the reinforcing ring, and enhances construction performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
