HEAT PUMP TYPE WATER HEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater that allows conventional use of copper pipes as connecting piping that must be field-erected, in a circulating water piping circuit for interconnecting a heat pump unit with a hot water storage unit.

SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater includes the heat pump unit 2 for generating hot water by a refrigeration cycle; the hot water storage unit 3 incorporating a hot water storage tank 32 for storing the hot water generated by the heat pump unit 2; and the circulating water piping circuit 1 having the connecting piping 11 field-erected to circulate the hot water between both units. In the circulating water piping circuit 1, the connection piping 11 is directly or indirectly connected to circulating piping connections 21 by means of interlocking fittings 6.
