摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly regenerate a filter 8b while inhibiting or preventing oil dilution by not doing post fuel injection unnecessarily during execution of filter regeneration in an exhaust emission control device regenerating the filter 8b of an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine 1 as the occasion demands. <P>SOLUTION: The control device 10 for an exhaust emission control device includes a decision means accompanying execution demand of filter regeneration and deciding whether the temperature of an oxidation catalyst 8a is not less than an activation temperature or not, a first coping means executing filter regeneration in a style adding and supplying fuel component to an upstream side of the oxidation catalyst 8a in the exhaust gas passage in affirmative decision by the decision means, and a second coping means executing filter regeneration in a style of making post injection control and fuel addition control operate together in negation decision by the decision means.
