<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bonding method capable of solidly bonding two base materials to each other through a bonding film having high light resistance and high dimension precision and of which refractive index can be easily controlled by controlling the irradiation condition of an ultraviolet ray; a conjugate produced by solidly bonding two base materials to each other by the bonding method with high dimension precision; and an optical element. <P>SOLUTION: This bonding method comprises: a process for preparing a base material 2 and an article to be bonded 4; a process (first process) for film-making a bonding film 3 on the surface of the base material 2 by a plasma-polymerization method; a process (second process) for obtaining the bonding film 3 having a predetermined refractive index by irradiating the bonding film 3 with a predetermined integrated light amount of an ultraviolet ray to change the refractive index of the bonding film 3 in a changed amount corresponding to the integrated light amount; a process for exposing the bonding film 3 to a plasma to develop stable adhesion of the bonding film 3; and a process (third process) for bonding the article to be bonded 4 to the base material 2 through the bonding film 3 to obtain a bonded body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
