<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounted antenna of a miniaturized combo antenna type, an antenna apparatus and a wireless communication device using the antenna. <P>SOLUTION: The surface mounted antenna 10 includes a base 11 of a substantially rectangular parallelepiped profile, an antenna element 13, and an antenna element 14. The antenna element 13 includes a first radiation electrode 13A formed on the front surface of the base 11. Electric power is supplied directly to the first radiation electrode 13A. The antenna element 14 includes a radiation electrode 14A formed on the front surface of the base 11. Electric power is supplied to the radiation electrode 14A by capacitive coupling.
