PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic detection device capable of increasing detection distance by using a Hall element that is similar to conventional types. SOLUTION: The magnetic detection device 1 includes: the Hall element 20; and a magnetism collecting body 30, disposed at the detection side of magnetism in the Hall element 20. The area of a first surface 31, located opposite to the Hall element 20 in the magnetism collecting body 30, is made smaller than that of a second area 32 positioned at a side opposite to the first surface 31 in the magnetism collecting body 30.
