<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel pharmaceutical containing a fused bicyclic heteroaryl derivative or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, which has excellent blood sugar lowering effect and is effective in treating diseases of glycogen metabolism and lipid metabolism, or diseases in which peroxisome proliferator activated receptor (PPAR)γ participates and/or in preventing the onset of these diseases. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical includes a compound shown by general formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof. In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>is a 1C-6C alkyl group, and a 6C-10C aryl group or the like which is a group selected from a substituent group (a) and in which one to five may be independently substituted; R<SP>2</SP>is a 1C-6C alkyl group; R<SP>3</SP>is a 6C-10C aryl group or the like which is a group selected from the substituent group (a) and in which one or five may be independently substituted; Q is a group shown by formula =CH- or a nitrogen atom; the substituent group (a) consists of a halogen atom, a 1C-6C alkyl group, a 1C-6C hydroxyalkyl group or the like.
