<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that drag occurs at a corresponding wheel if the containment of wheel cylinder pressure is generated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a brake control device 20, a booster control valve 66 controls the supply of working fluids to a plurality of downstream wheel cylinders 23 by adjusting the working fluid pressure of an upstream accumulator 35 for pressure accumulating and storing the working fluids. The booster control valve 66 is a solenoid control valve whose opening degree is controlled according to a pressure difference between the upstream and downstream of the booster control valve 66, and the current supplied by a controller. The controller performs processing for avoiding the containment of the wheel cylinder pressure based on current values during opening and closing supplied to the booster control valve 66.
