PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine of which a holding member that holds a connection wiring for connecting coils together is suppressed from deforming or damaged. SOLUTION: The rotating electrical machine includes a rotating shaft which is rotatably provided, a rotor secured to the rotating shaft, and a stator arranged around the rotor. The stator includes a stator core arranged in ring, an insulating member attached to the stator core, a plurality of coils attached to the stator core with an insulating member therebetween, crossovers 154U, 154V, and 154W for connecting the coils together, and an insulating holding member 165U for holding the crossovers 154U, 154V, and 154W. The end face in the axial direction of the stator is covered with a mold resin. The holding member 165U includes ridges 168a, 168b, and 168c for reducing a resistance against a flow of the mold resin when the mold resin is supplied. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
