PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture capable of readily attaching and detaching a fluorescent lamp, without damaging it. SOLUTION: A lamp pin 23 of one of base parts 22 is inserted into one of sockets 30; since a lamp pin 23 of the other base part 22 can be inserted into the other socket 30, by biasing force of an elastic member 32 that biases the socket 30 into an axis direction, external force to a direction crossing the axis direction to an arc tube 21 is not applied, at attaching and removing of a fluorescent lamp 20. As a result, the fluorescent lamp 20 can be easily attached and removed, without damaging the lamp 20. Moreover, since the lamp pin 23 is, further, shifted on a socket side than on a lamp axis L1 of the fluorescent lamp 20, the fluorescent lamp 20 which can emit a light to both ends can be used with the use of a conventional socket for a fluorescent lamp provided with a lamp pin that protrudes to the outside from the base part fitted at both ends.
