<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure platemaking roll which does not cause the deficiency of conduction and disconnection or the like, even when using hard conductive ink or the like in forming the wiring of an electronic equipment or the like by printing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The gravure platemaking roll includes a plate base material, a copper plated layer which is arranged on the surface of the plate base material and formed with a plurality of gravure cells on the surface, and a chromium-plated layer covering the surface of the copper-plated layer, wherein at least part of the gravure cells has a groove which communicates with an adjacent cell.
