PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrophotographic toner, having excellent hydrolysis resistance, low temperature fixability, hot offset resistance, preservability and durability. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic toner is obtained according to a method including a process of particulating raw material containing binder resin in an aqueous medium. The binder resin contains composite resin containing condensation polymerizable resin and styrene-based resin. The condensation polymerizable resin is resin obtained by condensation polymerizing an alcohol component containing aliphatic polyhydric alcohol (alcohol A) having two or more secondary carbon atoms to which a hydroxy group is bonded and a carboxylic acid component.
