PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more improve throughput in radio communication by time-division multiplexing. SOLUTION: A representative configuration of a radio communication apparatus includes a radio communication unit 222 for wirelessly communicating with an optional base station 120 by TDMA (time-division multiple access); and a connection request unit 250 for outputting a connection request for allocating channels of respective base stations 120 to respective time slots in the TDMA. When one or more time slots other than a time slot 0 which is a first time slot specified to a control channel of a base station 120A as a first base station are allocated to the base station 120A as traffic channels, the connection request unit outputs a connection request for allocating the time slot 0 to a base station 120B different from the base station 120A as a traffic channel.
