<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge method for an accumulator operating an injection cylinder in a die casting machine, which efficiently utilizes the characteristics and capability of a rotational speed variable type motor driving a hydraulic pump, and shortens the time required for the charge. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a hydraulic pump is driven by a rotational speed variable type motor, and high-pressure hydraulic oil is discharged so as to perform a charge to an accumulator, when the discharge pressure from the hydraulic pump is low and the load torque of the rotational speed variable type motor is small, it is rotated at the maximum rotational speed. When the load torque is increased as the discharge pressure increases, the rotational speed is controlled in accordance with the load properties of the rotational speed variable type motor.
