<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a risk of deterioration in a recording accuracy due to shrinkage of a recording material in a recording device with a heating platen. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A moisture measuring device 76 measures a moisture percentage of a base material FP of an adhesion paper P before being supported by the heating platen 53. For instance, a well-known moisture meter can be used. A recording control part 100 changes recording control to the adhesion paper P based on the moisture percentage of the base material FP of the adhesion paper P measured by the moisture measuring device 76. Since appropriate recording control can be executed according to the shrinkage percentage of the base material FP when supported by the heating platen 53, the risk of deterioration in the recording accuracy due to the shrinkage of the base material FP of the adhesion paper P can be reduced.
