<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens integrated type receptacle in which the face to which a ferrule is abutted is hardly scratched even if the ferrule is repeatedly detached and mounted, thus optical coupling efficiency is not deteriorated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lens integrated type receptacle includes: a hole 1a provided on an end side for ferrule 4 insertion; a transparent holder 1 which is formed so that the gap between a hole 1b provided at the other end side for mounting an optical element package 2 may have a function as a lens 1c; and a transparent elastic member 5 provided on the bottom face of the hole 1a.
