<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a wheel rolling bearing device for precisely forming a bolt hole in a desired position by precisely focusing the phase of a workpiece on a spindle chuck. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of rollers 29 hold the workpiece W in contact with its outer periphery. Each roller 29 is rotatably supported by an arm 38. In the state that the center axis of the workpiece W corresponds to a rotational axis C of a spindle 23, the workpiece W is externally fitted to the spindle chuck 25 (refer to Fig.(a)). Then, when a positioning pin 33 is turned (refer to Fig.(b)), the workpiece W rests until the positioning pin 33 abuts on an extension part 21, however, after the positioning pin 33 abuts on the extension part 21, the workpiece W is rotated around the rotational axis C of the spindle chuck 25 with the turn of the positioning pin 33.
