PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a detection state of a face image of a person to be confirmed at an object scene side and, in particular, to improve operability in self-photographing. SOLUTION: An imager 16 generates an image representing an object scene. An LED device 46 is provided on a front face of a camera cabinet. A CPU 26 retrieves a face image of a person from the image generated by the imager 16 and makes a light-emitting operation of the LED device 46 different in accordance with a retrieval result. When the number of detected face images is "0", the LED device 46 is brought into a non-emitting state, when the number of detected face images is "1", the LED device is emitted in red and when the number of detected face images is "2" or more, the LED device is emitted in green.
