PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine capable of selling an article having a weak vessel form. SOLUTION: The vending machine has body-side hook fittings 50, 55 laid on a ceiling surface. A frame body of an article housing rack is formed of upper, lower, right and left frame members (upper support frame members 21, 21, lower support frame members, and vertical frame members). With a vertical configuration of a plurality of stages on the right and left frame members, an article support unit 30 is provided for supporting a flange of the article having the weak vessel form, with an inclination to make the back side lower so as to slide the article by its own weight and house the article in a hung manner. The article support unit 30 also has an article ejection mechanism on the back end. A slant article housing rack 20 having the article support unit 30 detachably to the frame members configuring the article housing rack is provided. Further, with the provision of adaptor members 51, 56 for connecting the rack 20 to the hook members 50, 55, the slant article housing rack 20 has compatibility with a serpentine article housing rack.
