<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termite-proof structure of a building foundation capable of sustaining termite-proof effects over a long period while reducing the use amount of slag by effectively disposing a termite-proof material formed by laying down the granular slag. Ž<P>SOLUTION: At this building foundation, the termite-proof material 4 formed by laying down the granular slag is disposed so as to cover the lower side corner of a joint portion 8 along the lower corner of the joint portion between the inner surface 2a of the rise part 2 of a continuous foundation 1 and the end lower surface 5c of a floor concrete 5. The termite-proof material 4 is formed in the shape of a generally right-triangle in cross section in which the width dimension W1 of the vertical surface of the continuous foundation 1 in contact with the inner surface 2a of the rise part 2 is 100 mm or shorter, desirably 50 mm or shorter, and the width dimension W2 of the horizontal surface thereof in contact with the end lower surface 5c of the floor concrete 5 is 100 mm or shorter, desirably 50 mm or shorter.
