<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission preventing slipping-out of a gear of the transmission. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An inclined face 53b inclining in the advancing direction of an arm shifter 53 is formed in an engaging part 53a of the arm shifter 53 firmed to a shift fork. A tip part 56a of a shift arm 56 interlocking with a change lever is stored in the engaging part 53a of the arm shifter 53. The arm shifter 53 can be operated by rotating the shift arm 56, and a desired shift gear train can be switched to a power transmission state. When rotating the arm shifter 53 in this way, the arm shifter is put in a state of contacting the tip part 56a of the shift arm 56 with the inclined face 53b of the arm shifter 53. Thus, even if slipping-out force acts on the arm shifter 53, since this slipping-out force is transmitted in the axial direction of the shift arm 56 from the arm shifter 53, the rotational movement of the shift arm 56 can be prevented.
