PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally change the direction of a baton by detachably fixing the baton to a rotatable holder, and to utilize the baton as an auxiliary gripping section. SOLUTION: This protection shield includes a gripping section for handling a shield body and the rotatable holder for attaching and detaching the baton at an inner face of the shield body. Any holder is applied only when it includes a structure to attach and detach the baton, and the holding is, for example, formed roughly into the U-shape to grip the baton. When the roughly U-shaped holder is applied, the baton is easily attached and detached. Further the holder may be composed of a self-defense part holding section for holding a self-defense part, and a top ball holding section for holding a top ball at a tip, so that it is extended only pulling out the baton when the extensible baton is fixed.
