PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire lever capable of easily removing a tire from a wheel rim in the same manner as that for a conventional tire even if the tire to be removed has a high rigidity. SOLUTION: The end part of a body 42 of a tire lever is provided with a curved part 44 having a length of about 60 to 100 mm and a radius of curvature of about 60 to 120 mm and a first insertion part 46 to be inserted between a wheel rim and a tire, wherein the first insertion part 46 has such a thickness that it is gradually decreased from its curved part toward its leading end and an imaginary straight line FL connecting a connecting point between the curved part 44 and the body 42 with the leading end of the first insertion part 46 is inclined relative to the body 42 toward a side opposite to a location where a center of curvature of the curved part 44 is positioned. With such an arrangement, even if the tire to be removed has a high rigidity, this tire lever 40 can be easily inserted between the tire and the wheel rim and its tire removing operation can be easily carried out.
