PURPOSE: A thermoelectric element and a connection socket are provided to improve assembly efficiency by easily connecting a plurality of thermoelectric elements in series or parallel without connecting a lead line. CONSTITUTION: A thermoelectric element(20) is composed of a lead terminal and a thermoelectric element connected to the lead terminal. The lead terminal includes a protrusion connection terminal(22,23). The protrusion connection terminal is protruded from the body in one direction or anther direction. The connection socket arranges the thermoelectric element on the same plane and supplies power in series or parallel. The connection socket electrically connects the protrusion connection terminal of one thermoelectric element and the protrusion connection terminal of the other thermoelectric element.
