<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate focusing and photographing of a face, under conditions of the detection of a face being difficult, due to the surroundings being dark and the exposure being slightly insufficient. <P>SOLUTION: A bracket photographic device includes a control means, within a photographic image plane; and the control means detects areas, where the quantity of light reflected from a subject is a first predetermined value or more and a second predetermined value or less, from the difference between the luminance of a subject image photographed by the imaging means, without the light emission of a strobe means and the luminance of a subject image photographed by the imaging means by the preliminary the emission of the strobe means; the control means sets the focal point detection area for each of the areas and detects the focusing position for each focal point detection area by an image contrast method; and the control means carries out photographing, by sequentially moving the focusing optical system to the detected one or a plurality of focusing positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
