PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily receive content related to broadcast data without performing a predetermined operation each time in addition to a channel selecting operation. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver 10 includes: at least an input section 14 for accepting an operation for selecting any one of a plurality of broadcast stations 2; a broadcast receiving section 11 for receiving broadcast data distributed from the plurality of broadcast stations 2; a storage section 13 for storing content acquiring information capable of acquiring content related to the plurality of broadcast stations 2 or the broadcast data, for each of the plurality of broadcast stations 2; a communication control section 12 to be connected to an information terminal having the content based on the content acquiring information; and a control section 15 for acquiring the content based on the content acquiring information in response to the switching of channel selection. If the storage section stores one or more content acquiring information per broadcast station 2, the control section 15 selects one content acquiring information depending on a time zone to acquire the content.
