PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display of a horizontal electronic field type is provided to improve the poor quality of an image by removing an uneven charge between frames in an inversion drive. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal field type liquid crystal display comprises a plurality of pixels. A pixel comprises liquid crystal cells. A first liquid crystal cell is driven by the voltage difference of first and second pixel electrodes. A second liquid crystal cell is driven by the voltage difference of the second and fourth pixel electrodes. A third liquid cell is driven by the voltage difference of a fifth and a sixth pixel electrode. A gate line provides a scan pulse for selecting liquid crystal cells. A data voltage provided to neighboring liquid crystal cells in the same pixel is provided through a data line.
