PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a functional panel using a functional panel composition is provided to emit far infrared rays profitable to the human body and to ensure control moisture and antibacterial activity. CONSTITUTION: A functional panel composition comprises: 100 weight parts of plaster powder; 20-35 weight parts of yellow soil; 20-35 weight parts of zeolite having a particle size of 30mesh-1 mm; and 30-45 weight parts of water. A method for preparing the functional panel using the composition comprises: a step of injecting the composition into the mold frame in a height of about 1/3 of the mold frame; a step of spreading a reinforcing net on the composition; a step of laying a perforated steel plate of '?? form on up and down and right and left side of each corner edge; a step of covering the reinforced mesh in both end point of the iron wire again; a step of injecting the composition into the frame and molding by pressing; and a step of curing the mold at room temperature and drying after separating from the frame.
