FUEL CELL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A fuel cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the contacting area between a gas diffusion layer and a current collector for reducing the contact resistance. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a fuel cell comprises the following: forming a current collector to be partially covered by a gas diffusion layer by vaporizing conductive materials to the gas diffusion layer(S110); and laminating the gas diffusion layer on an electrolyte membrane(S120). The fuel cell comprises the electrolyte membrane, the gas diffusion layer, and the current collector partially buried to the gas diffusion layer. The current collector formation process is performed by a method selected from the group consisting of sputtering, vacuum evaporation and physical vapor deposition.
