The method involves carrying out rotation of an infrared measurement image. Size of the reoriented infrared measurement image is modified with a scale factor K. Difference between distance of characteristics points of the modified infrared measurement image at a given origin and distance of characteristics points of a reference image at the same origin, is analyzed. The modified infrared measurement image is decoded so as to superpose a position mark of the modified image with a position mark of the reference image.
