PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a massage machine to be used, regardless of the body type of a user, and also to suppress the whole height. SOLUTION: The massage machine is a chair type massage machine where massage mechanisms 14 are arranged inside a backrest 1. The backrest 1 has such a shape that a buttock support part is bent and the front surface of the backrest 1 and the upper surface of a seat 2 are continuously formed in a curved line. There is no boundary between the seat and the backrest. When the user leans against the backrest with a deviation in a sitting position, a region from the back to the buttock is brought into close contact with the front surface of the backrest.
