<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, when a surface is smoothly finished, the surface area becomes minimum, thereby deteriorating a heat conduction efficiency, namely, part of flame of a gas range or the like comes into contact with the smooth surface and most of the flame is released to air, thereby wasting energy, in a cooking or water-heating device such as a pan, a pot and a kettle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This cooking or water-heating device consisting of a vessel such as a pan, a pot and a kettle is integrally formed with multiple projections for increasing the surface area, at appropriate intervals mutually on the surface of the vessel that receives a heat energy from a heat source.
