<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft workpiece measuring apparatus capable of effectively measuring outer diameters of a workpiece cut into a stepped shaft shape at multiple positions in the axis direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A shaft workpiece measuring apparatus 11 measures an outer diameter of a workpiece W1 cut into a stepped shaft shape and includes: a workpiece supporting base 12 for supporting the workpiece W1 in a predetermined attitude; a non-contact sensor device 13; and a sensor moving mechanism 14. The non-contact sensor device 13 measures an outer diameter of the workpiece W1 supported on the workpiece supporting base 12 by a sensor part 24 without contact. The sensor moving mechanism 14 relatively moves the sensor part 24 of the non-contact sensor device 13 along the axis direction to the workpiece W1 on the workpiece supporting base 12.
