METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IDENTIFYING TYPE OF CHARGER

A method for identifying the type of a charger and a device thereof are disclosed. In the method, a divider resistance is connected in series between the output terminal of power supply of an electrical equipment and a second pin of a universal serial bus Mini USB-A type interface. The method for identifying the type of the charger includes: the second pin and a third pin of the Mini USB-A type interface are set in a high-impedance state when detecting that the charger is accessed; a measuring point is set between the Mini USB-B type interface of the charger and the divider resistance, and the voltage at the measuring point is measured; the type of the charger is identified according to the measured voltage result.
