PURPOSE: A system having mobile terminal and a server and a method for synchronizing data common in a system and a server are provided to synchronizing connecting icon location information of a mobile terminal and icon location information of a server in case of a location of connecting icon is changed. CONSTITUTION: A control unit encodes connection information and location information by connection icon(540). A control unit decodes a received connection information check unit if a wireless communication unit receives a connection information check signal from a server(560,570). The control unit compares location information by connection icon of the connection information check signal and location information by connection icon of a storage unit(580). The control unit updates location information by connection icon(590).
