PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor suitable for combining a predetermined image in a proper position of an image. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes a control part 10 and a storage part 23 wherein a picked-up image and a character image are stored. The control part 10 detects a subject included in the picked-up image stored in the storage part 23. The control part 10 detects a position of the detected subject in the picked-up image, and next determines a position of a character to be combined, in the picked-up image on the basis of the detected position of the subject, and then combines the character image stored in the storage part 23, in the determined position of the character in the picked-up image stored in the storage part 23 to generate a composite image.
