4-Piperidinyl 1H-indole minus isomer - prepd. by resolving racemic mixt. with D minus tartaric acid

摘要

The (-) isomer of 4-(3-piperidinyl)1H-indole (I) and its acid addition salts, is new. (I) is a dopaminergic stimulant, useful in the treatment of parkinsonism, post-encephalitic parkinsonian syndromes, and antehypophyse prolactin hypersecretion. The (-)isomer is the active component of the racemic mixt. disclosed in the parent patent, FR2458549; the toxicity of this isomer is however no greater than that of the racemic mixt.
