[Also in Group XXII] A cage 1 for a needle roller bearing is provided with windows 2 having roller retaining edges 8 and projecting fins 9 on the inner and outer surfaces of the cage respectively. The outer surface of the cage may be provided with ribs 13 and the projecting fins on the ribs are rolled down to reduce the gap 14 (Fig. 7), to retain the rollers. Alternatively, ribs 19 may be provided on the inner surface 16 of the cage.
